As part of the economic course syllabus, the seventh NDC Course participants paid a visit to the Central Bank of the UAE on Sunday, 19 January 2020.
The NDC delegation was headed by Brigadier General Navy Staff Tariq Khalfan Al-Za'abi, NDC Deputy Commandant, accompanied by the NDC wing commanders, a number of NDC faculty members, and the seventh NDC Course 2019-2020 participants. The visit began with a welcome speech delivered by H.E. Saif Hadef Al-Shamsi, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, followed by an orientation tour in the bank's monetary management department.
The aim of the visit is to understand the Central Bank's strategic objectives and responsibilities, assess the country's financial growth, explore the most important challenges and risks to national financial systems, and learn how the UAE uses its financial power to preserve national interests.
