As it is keen to mix extracurricular recreational activities with the education process during the academic year, NDC has launched as always, a sports day for the participants of NDC Course 2019-2020. This sports day is an added value to raise the morale and to enhance the social ties among leaders, officers, other ranks, and NDC Course participants. It is a venue for fair competitions for achieving results for the participating teams and enhancing the sense loyalty to NDC and the team.
The activities started as per the schedule on Thursday morning, October 24, 2019 at the Center for Military Sports Education. The first activity was warming up the team members followed by other activities like volleyball and other various recreational activities like tug-of-war and football competitions. The participants were formed into teams to ensure an atmosphere of enthusiasm, excitement and a meaningful competition.
At the end of this fun and active day, winning teams were announced followed by a group photo for the participants of the NDC Course 2019-2020. It should be noted that the purpose of organizing such events within the NDC Course program is to enable participants to interact and maintain communication between them and their NDC faculty, civilian and military staff, as well as to compete with each other in a teamwork spirit which later reflects will boost their performance and competition to achieve their goals during their academic course at the National Defence College.
