NDC 14th Participants Visit Zayed National Museum
The National Defence College organized a field visit to Zayed National Museum for participants of the 14th National Defence Course for academic year 2026–2027. The visit formed part of a series of academic field visits scheduled for selected courses. The delegation was led by Brigadier Staff Ahmed Hassan Al Zaabi, Deputy Commandant of the National Defence College, accompanied by College faculty members.
The visit programme included a lecture delivered to participants by Dr. Badr Al Shateri, a faculty member at the College, followed by an exchange of commemorative gifts and a group photograph to document the occasion.
Participants then toured the museum’s galleries, exploring significant milestones in the history and national heritage of the United Arab Emirates. They also learned about the life of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may he rest in peace, his role in establishing the Union, and the values and principles underpinning his vision for building the state and society.
The visit reflects the College’s commitment to strengthening the institutional understanding of the national environment among participants of the 14th National Defence Course and connecting theoretical concepts with practical applications. It also provides firsthand insight into the UAE’s development journey, broadening participants’ perspectives and enhancing their understanding of national policies, visions and the organizational frameworks governing public institutions and strategic sectors across the country.
