NDC Conducts a Field Visit to United Arab Emirates University
As part of its commitment to strengthening the academic and practical dimensions of its programmes and promoting cooperation with national strategic and academic partners, the National Defence College organized a field visit to United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) in Al Ain. The delegation was led by Major General Staff Saeed Salmeen Al Alawi, Commandant of the National Defence College, accompanied by his advisers, faculty members and relevant College Staff.
The visit programme included an exchange of commemorative gifts and a group photograph of the College delegation with their hosts from UAEU. This was followed by presentations from both institutions and an introductory tour of the university library to learn about its latest classification systems.
At the end of the introductory visit, the UAEU delegation bid farewell to the visiting National Defence College delegation.
The visit was intended to support the development objectives of the College’s PhD programme in Strategic and Security Studies, prepare faculty members and enrich their academic knowledge and expertise, helping to ensure programme quality and alignment with the standards of the academic accreditation authority.
