7th NDC course participants attend the Arab Strategy Forum (State of the World in 2020)

Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Arab Strategy Forum (State of the World in 2020) was held at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai on Monday, December 9, 2019.

The Forum gathered prominent international experts, politicians, economists, intellectuals, and decision makers to discuss the geopolitical and economic issues and developments in the Arab world, and to forecast the future of the world and the region.

A delegation of NDC faculty members and the seventh NDC Course 2019-2020 participants, headed by H.E. Major General Staff Pilot Rashad Mohammed Salem Al-Saadi, NDC Commandant, attended the Arab Strategy Forum.

By attending the Arab Strategy Forum, the National Defence College aims to explore the strategic trends and issues and their direct impact in the region and the world. It is an opportunity to learn about the perspectives of experts and practitioners in political and economic affairs and the relevant questions raised during the debate.  

It should be noted that the 12th edition of the Arab Strategy Forum included six panel discussions and two lectures in one-day packed agenda with the aim of presenting future scenarios based on the current events to bring to decision makers reliable perspectives about how to overcome such challenges.
