His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) received Major General Staff Pilot Rashad Mohammed Salem Al-Saadi, Commandant of the National Defence College, Chairman of the Joint Committee for the establishment of the Gulf Academy for Strategic and Security Studies on December 12, 2018 at the headquarters of the Secretariat-General in Riyadh.
Al-Zayani welcomed Major General Staff Pilot Rashad Al-Saadi and expressed his thanks and appreciation for the substantial efforts made by the members of the committee and representatives of the armed forces of the GCC countries to complete the technical, administrative and scientific studies necessary for the establishment of the Gulf Academy for Strategic and Security Studies. Al-Zayani praised the stages achieved by the committee to complete this study in accordance with the international standards and criteria adopted in the establishment of similar academies, which contribute to enhancing the capabilities of the military and security leaders and senior leaders in the GCC countries and developing their knowledge and skills.
