The NDC Course 2019-2020 participants visited the National Archives on Sunday, October 13, 2019 as part of the Domestic Context Course. The visit aims to inform the participants about the foundation stages of the state and understand the factors that led to the establishment of the union in the UAE, as well as to define the strategy followed by the Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in the face of the challenges and threats that took place in the first stages of establishing the Union State.
The visit also included a discussion of Sheikh Zayed’s vision on the functions of the state and its relationship with internal society and the surrounding countries, as well as discussing the characteristics and features of the modern state of the UAE.
