NDC received H.E. Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 to deliver a lecture to the participants of the 9th NDC Course on the UAE development aids to foreign countries in support of national interests.
H.E. was received by Major General Aqab Shaheen Al Ali, the College Commandant, the Deputy Commandant, and the NDC wing commander.
This lecture aims at informing the participants of the 9th NDC Course 2021-2022 about the efforts of UAE in providing development aids to foreign countries and its efforts in supporting international peace and stability. The lecture also shed light on the UAE critical role in providing humanitarian and welfare support to several foreign countries.
H.E. the Minister also explained that UAE has maintained for years its development aids compared to its GDP thus achieving a high rank among the donors of foreign assistance.
His Excellency indicated that the UAE would support the local development, humanitarian, and charitable organizations that support foreign aids in collaboration with the efforts of the governmental institutions. H.E. pointed out that the UAE government is expanding its multilateral actors to achieve the sustainable development goals.
