On Sunday, February 28, 2021, His Excellency Lt. Gen. Staff Pilot Rashad Mohammed Alsaadi handed over his leadership position of the National Defence College to His Excellency Major General Aqab Shaheen Alali during a ceremony held at the NDC campus attended by all participants, faculty members, and the military and civilian staff of NDC.
During his closing speech, His Excellency Lt. Gen. Staff Pilot Rashad Mohammed Alsaadi welcomed the new Commandant. He thanked all the military and civilians attendees wishing them success and urging them towards more efforts to fully support NDC to achieve its mission and maintain its status being a prominent academic institution that yields distinguished graduates with exclusive security and strategic education.
His Excellency Major General Aqab Shaheen Alali, the new Commandant of NDC welcomed all attendees thanking the former commandant for his efforts and contributions at the NDC and GHQ Armed Forces levels. He explored that Lt. Gen. Staff Pilot Rashad Mohammed Alsaadi had left a clear and permanent positive impact in establishing NDC since inception until empowerment until it achieved a national reputation and academic reputation with a high level of appreciation thanks to Allah and to the cooperation of all those who worked under his distinguished leadership.
