About COrona virus (Covid-19)
What is Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19)?
It is a novel strain of corona virus causing human-to-human respiratory infection ranging in severity from mild common cold to more severe diseases. It has been identified by a number of people with pneumonia symptoms in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
What are the symptoms of Novel COVID-19?
Some patients may experience ache, pain, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, or diarrhea.
How does Novel COVID-19 spread?
Infections of Novel COVID-19 could be transmitted through the following:
From an infected person to a healthy person through contaminated mouth droplets while coughing or sneezing) or through contaminated hands.
It can be transmitted when touching contaminated surfaces.
A person could get Novel COVID-19 when breathing the droplets associated with the coughs or exhales of an infected person. Always keep a minimum social distance of 1 meter (3 feet) from an infected person.
What are the prevent measures of Novel COVID-19?
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water or rub them with an alcohol-based disinfectant to kill viruses that may be on your hands.
Keep a minimum social distance of 1 meter (3 feet) from a person who is coughing or sneezing.
Cover your nose and mouth with your elbow or a tissue when coughing or sneezing, then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
Avoid touching the eyes, nose, or mouth before washing hands.
Avoid greeting by shaking hands. Always greet others from afar.
Avoid greeting by nose, hugging, or kissing.
Avoid direct contact with animals.
Take enough rest time and drink plenty of fluids.
What should I do if I develop symptoms of COVID-19?
