The UAE leadership is committed to grooming young national leaders who are not only highly professional, but also have a deep understanding of the UAE's strategic security vision for the region and beyond, noted Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC).
''The FNC and other national institutions are integral parts of the national security and defence system,'' she added, during a meeting with Pilot Staff Maj-Gen Rashad Al Saadi, Commander of the National Defence College.
She also reiterated the House's interest in co-operating with the college, noting that the House had discussed and passed the National and Reserve Service Law, being one of the most important tools to form a national defence force of young Emiratis to defend the nation.
