The participants of the Fifth NDC Course conducted an international study visit which included the United States of America, the Federal Republic of Russia, and the Republic of Latvia during the period from 11 to 22 March 2018. The international study visit is part of the UAE NDC's curriculum to explore the expertise of these countries at the strategic level in terms of political, economic and military fields, aspects of the national security, and how to manage and deal with political and security crises, including issues of common concern in the Middle East and the Arabian Gulf region. During the visits, several meetings have been held with a number of VIPs, ambassadors and senior officials to discuss these aspects and exchange views.
