On October 28, 2013, the National Defense College hosted Dr. Nicholas Gardener from the Royal Canadian Military College to deliver a lecture on the strategist Carl Von Clausewitz. The lecture focused on theories of war, centers of gravity, and Clausewitz’s contributions to the development of strategic concepts and his theory that war is a mere continuation of politics by other means. At the end of the lecture, the speaker answered the questions of student participants.
