Within the curriculum of the National Defence Course, the National Defence College has organized a visit for the participants of the 9th NDC Course to the Ministry of Interior on Tuesday 28/9/2021. The visit delegation was headed by Major General Aqab Shaheen Al-Ali, Commandant of the National Defense College accompanied by a number of officers and faculty members. 

The NDC visit aims to inform the participants of the 9th National Defence Course about the tasks and roles of the Ministry of Interior in achieving the UAE national security strategy in addition to identifying the critical changes in the domestic context and the role of the Ministry in facing challenges, reducing crime, and achieving security and stability for all residents of the country.
The visit schedule began with an opening speech by His Excellency Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, in which he welcomed the NDC delegation.

The welcoming speech of His Excellency the Undersecretary was followed by presentations. Brigadier Dr. Faisal Al-Shuaibi gave a presentation on the General Department of Strategy and Performance Development. Al-Shuaibi was followed by Brigadier General Abdul-Azeez Al-Ahmad gave a presentation on the General Department of the Federal Criminal Police. Lt. Col. Dana Al-Marzouqi gave an explanation about the International Affairs Office. The presentations were interrupted by a short break .The presentations explored the importance of the roles played by the Ministry's various public departments such as the National Defence Department, the Central Operations Department, and the General Department of Security Support.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation of the National Defence College extended its thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Interior for the hospitality and the informative presentations.
