The National Defense College course 2 -2014/2015 paid a visit to the National Centre for Documentation and Research (NCDR) On Monday, 22 September,2014. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize participant- students with the national documents and manuscripts available at the Archives Centre which could serve as a valuable reference for student research and studies in the college. The NDC delegation was headed by Staff Brigadier General Abdullah Al Ka'abi and included the Dean of College, a number of faculty members and college staff officers. The visiting delegation was received by Mr. Farhan Al Marzouqi, the Director of Community Outreach Department, and a number of officials at the centre. The delegation attended a detailed presentation about the creation and development of NCDR followed by a lecture entitled "Sheikh Zayed and the Creation of the United Arab Emirates". Then, members of the delegation watched a documentary film and toured Sheikh Zayed Exhibition at NCDR. The visit was successful and achieved all its planned objectives where the participant -students had the opportunity to discuss many important issues.  At the end of the visit both sides expressed their high appreciation for the visit and exchanged plaques. After having a lunch meal at the centre, the college delegation received a warm farewell.
