H.E. Major General Staff Pilot Rashad Mohammed Salim Al Saadi, Commandant of National Defense College received on Tuesday morning, March 5, 2013, Dr. Thani Ahmad Thani Al muhairi, Director General of National Qualifications Authority in the framework of a introducing NQA to a number of federal ministries and institutions and in appreciation of the importance of NDC .The Director General presented a briefing on NQA in which he explored its strategic objectives ,mission and specialties in education and training including the vocational training .He stressed also the NQA role in developing the UAE qualification system and its implementation to meet the social and economic development needs. The Commandant stressed the importance of this visit , the vital role of the NQA and the importance of its relations with other government bodies including the NDC .He added that building databases of academic qualifications and certificates and the cooperation between the College and the NQA in this regard is an important part .The Commandant delivered a briefing about the college’s mission , objectives , vision and curriculum . At the end of the visit His Excellency Dr. Thani Al muhairi expressed his wishes of success for this national institute and maintained that the NQA will provide all kinds of support to enable the college to perform its mission and objectives.
