The National Defense College hosted on Monday, December 9, 2013, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Admiral John W. Miller, the U.S. 5th Fleet Commander who talked about the duties and the organizational structure of the U.S. 5th Fleet, leading strategic teams, and how to handle hotbeds of conflict in the region. The speaker also talked about the most important straits and water ways for oil exporting from the GCC countries. At the end of the lecture, the speaker answered the participant student's questions.
