H.E. the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, as part of H.E.’s annual meetings, met the students of the ninth National Defense Course, on Thursday, 17/2/2022 at the college welcomed by H.E. Maj. Gen. Staff Aqab Shaheen Al Ali, the NDC Commandant with his Deputy and NDC Wing Commanders.
In his meeting with the participants of the 9th National Defense Course 2021-2022 and in the presence of NDC Faculty, H.E. began his speech mentioning the NDC’s role in preparing and qualifying military and civil leaders by honing their abilities to identify and assess national, regional and international security challenges, and equipping them with the foundations needed to best utilize and invest the UAE’s resources to protect the interests of their homeland. He also reiterated the significance of their diligent and fruitful work for the country anticipating the bright future and what it holds.
H.E. also spoke about the responsibility of the participants in carrying out course requirements after the course’s completion by keeping in mind and implementing the skills and experience they had acquired when returning to their jobs.
To conclude his meeting with the participants; H.E. the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces urged everyone to work hard and give back in any way that would advance our country and contribute to its development in all fields, and to proudly uphold the trust given to them by the wise leadership to continuously advance joint national action by working diligently and sincerely and valuing their duties and responsibilities.
