The National Defence College hosted His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Cabinet Member and Minister of Economy, to give a lecture to the participants of the 11th National Defence course 2023-2024 on "The Economic Policy and Strategy of the United Arab Emirates" on Wednesday January 10th, 2024.
His Excellency was received by Major General Salim Saeed Al Shamsi, Commandant of the National Defence College and wing commandants at the College. As listed and according to the agenda of the National Defence Course, the annual meeting hosted by the College of His Excellency the Minister of Economy with the participants of the National Defence Course aims to inform participants about the policy and strategy taken by the UAE in the field of economy to enhance and sustain its economic security in line with the changes in the wheel of the global economy and keep pace with these changes with the latest methods and methods of continuous development, which serves the supreme goals of the national economy.
The lecture also aims to introduce the sustainable development efforts made by the country in order to create an integrated development economy that is compatible with the elements between reality and hope, in addition to introducing the most important challenges facing this sector, and the future strategic solutions developed by the country in order to achieve a balance between economic needs and environmental goals to maintain clean energy and sustain growth in the vital economy sector in all its fields and specializations.
