National Defence College hosted a delegation from the US Air War College, headed by Colonel Jennifer Mendel, Chief Faculty Member, a group of faculty members and participant officers from the American Air War College and the National War College, on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024 at the college's headquarters.
The guest and his accompanying delegation were received by Major General Salem Saeed bin Harmal Al Shamsi, Commandant of the National Defence College, and some of college officers, where the group photo was taken at the beginning of the reception.
The visit by the delegation of the American Air War College aims to get acquainted with the National Defence College of the UAE, where a briefing was presented about the college that included the college's vision, mission and objectives, in addition to introducing the National Defence College's academic program that is taught to course participants.
After the briefing, a discussion session was held on the National Defence College model for strategic planning (an application to a case study) to open the door for discussion and the exchange of questions and answers between the two parties for discussion and delegation's inquiries.
At the end of the visit, the leader of the delegation of the US Air War College wrote his speech in the guestbook of the National Defence College, after which the two parties exchanged souvenirs with each other.
