The National Defence College organized a visit to the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research for the participants of the 11th National Defence course 2023-2024 on Tuesday, January 31st, 2024.
The delegation of the visit to the center was headed by Brigadier Khalifa Butti Al Shamsi, accompanied by a number of the college's faculty members.
The visit of the college's delegation of participants in the 11th National Defence course 2023-2024 and the college's faculty members to the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research aims to learn about the role of think tanks and strategic research institutions in decision-making and influence public opinion through the possible solutions provided by these centers through their in-depth research and analysis of underlying or surface-based issues, and to identify priorities in the recommendations they make necessary to face these challenges or threats.
In addition to focusing on the importance of knowing the relationship between strategic think tanks and historical narrative and being a wealth of knowledge on many changing issues.
