On Monday, December 15, 2025, a delegation from the National Defence College (NDC), faculty members and Participants of the NDC13 (2025-2026) visited the Prime Minister’s Office and Government Accelerators in Dubai.
The college delegation was received by several officials from the Prime Minister’s Office. Following a welcoming address, a briefing was provided on the UAE’s government workflow system and the role of the UAE leadership in establishing the concepts of excellence, innovation, and future foresight.
This visit underscores the commitment of the NDC to providing high-quality educational opportunities for its Participants. It aims to enable them to gain firsthand insight into the UAE's successful government experiences, thereby contributing to the refinement of their skills and bridging the gap between the theoretical aspects of the academic curriculum and practical application through field visits.
The visit program included a series of specialized sessions and presentations on several key topics. It began with a session on "Insights into Government Leadership," which reviewed the features of modern leadership and its impact on enhancing institutional performance. This was followed by a presentation on the most significant legislative changes in the country, highlighting the flexibility of UAE government legislation and its role in keeping pace with global changes and achieving successive successes.
Moreover, the NDC13 Participants listened to an explanation of government strategies, directives, and their associated future plans. This was followed by a presentation on the most prominent government services aimed at enhancing quality and digitalization; the presentation covered digital transformation experiences, improving customer experience, and the "Zero Government Bureaucracy" initiative.
The program also included an introductory session on the government performance and excellence system in the Emirate of Dubai, followed by a session on discovering and empowering future leaders, focusing on how to prepare them and build national capabilities through their leadership.
In conclusion, the final stop was titled "Dubai's Journey Toward the Future," which shed light on the Dubai Future Foundation and its most significant work in the fields of the future of sectors, the future of societies, and the future of governments.
