Participants of the 13th National Defence Course attend the Second Season of the Hili Forum

The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), in cooperation with the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, held the second edition of the Hili Forum under the theme "Resetting the International Order: Trade, Technology, and Governance" on September 8-9, 2025, in Abu Dhabi.

Participants of the 13th National Defence Course (2025-2026) attended the forum's events, which is a platform for dialogue and exchange of views on current issues, future trends, and their implications in shaping the global environment in light of rapid and profound transformations.

The Hili Forum aims to enrich strategic discussions in the UAE and to provide new scientific and research contributions. The forum, which was attended by an elite group of senior officials, decision-makers, diplomats, experts, and thinkers from both within and outside the UAE, included panel discussions and interactive meetings that addressed strategic topics with national, regional, and global dimensions.

The attendance of the 13th National Defence Course participants underscores the active role of the National Defence College in supporting the nation's intellectual and institutional momentum.
