The National Defence College Honors and Bids Farewell to Its Academic Dean

The National Defence College held an honoring ceremony and farewell to its Dean, Dr. Daniel Francis Baltrusaitis, on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, at the college's headquarters.

Major General Salem Saeed bin Harmal Al Shamsi, Commandant of the National Defence College, opened the ceremony program, which was attended by wing Commandants, heads of college divisions, members of the faculty, and the participants of the 11th national defence course 2023-2024 with a speech, in which he thanked and appreciated the efforts he had put in within the college's work team throughout his work and performance, and the role he played in order to develop, modernize and push forward the academic work in the college.

Then Dr. Daniel Francis, Dean of the College, delivered his speech in which he thanked everyone for their constant cooperation to serve the work and advance it towards wider horizons in which the scope of the academic work of the National Defence College expands, to include and achieve the vision, mission and objectives that have been set for it. The new Dean of the National Defence College delivered his speech on the occasion.

At the end of the farewell ceremony, Major General Salem Saeed bin Harmal Al Shamsi, Commandant of the National Defence College, presented Dr. Daniel Francis Baltrositeis with a certificate of honor and a commemorative gift in appreciation of the National Defence College for his efforts and work within its team over the years.
