UAE NDC celebrated the conferral ceremony for the 2nd intake at the Armed Forces Officers Club in Abu Dhabi. Attended by the UAE NDC College Commandant and a number of high officials and families of the graduates, the ceremony was commenced by the national anthem followed by the graduation speech delivered by Dr. John Ballard, Assistant Commandant for Academic Affairs, Dean of College. Dr. Ballard congratulated the graduates for this achievement and urged them to seek in-depth knowledge and gain more experience to be able to shoulder the responsibility with confidence. The graduation address was followed by the speech of the Dean of Students , Brig. Gen. Yousif Mallallah Alhamadi. “Allah has endowed us with a leadership whose main concern is to lead this nation ,and this why we have become one of the top nations” he said. “ On this day we pledge ourselves and all our precious things in life to the service of our dear country , and to reaffirm our loyalty to our wise leadership” he added. Alhamadi was followed by Dr. Omniat Alhajri ,an NDC graduate ,where she said “After one full year of study at this prominent military academic institution ,the graduates have successfully fulfilled all the theoretical and practical requirements for the MA Degree in Strategic and Security Studies .This achievement could not have been achieved without the support of Allah, and the uninterrupted support of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the President of State and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi , Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The event was marked by group photo and iftar banquet.
