His Excellency Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, met with the participants of the 10th National Defence course 2022-2023 on Wednesday, May 31st, 2022 at the college's headquarters.
His Excellency welcomed the participants in this course, and their choice to join this edifice, which will undoubtedly contribute to their preparation, rehabilitation and raising their capabilities to identify and evaluate the challenges of their national, regional and international security.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Major General Staff Pilot Salem Saeed Al-Shamsi, Commander of the National Defence College, and wing commanders at the college.
In his meeting with the students of the 10th National Defense course 2022-2023, His Excellency referred to the political-military document adopted by the United Arab Emirates as a general approach to building and developing its military defence capabilities, in addition to talking about the strategic dimensions of the national military industries, their components, future dimensions and their role in contributing to the national economy.
And the development projects that the Ministry of Defence is working on in order to modernize its armed forces in all sectors and administrative and operational units.
It is worth noting that the annual meeting hosted by the National Defence College with His Excellency the Minister of State for Defence Affairs aims to introduce students to the great role played by the Ministry of Defence in advancing all the military achievements and projects of the UAE Armed Forces and introducing its complementary role in developing defence capabilities and material and moral armament of various military commanders and units.
