The National Defence College organized a field visit for students of the 11th national defence course 2023-2024 to the Fujairah Naval Base and the oil tanks of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) as part of the strategy course on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023.
The field visit aims to introduce students of the national defence course to the most important vital facilities included in the base, and to learn about the prominent role played by the naval forces in securing vital national interests on the eastern side of the state's maritime theater, in addition to identifying the importance of the idea of establishing oil tanks and reviewing the future projects of the state in this field.
The delegation of students to Fujairah Naval Base was headed by Brigadier General Mohammed Saeed Ghafan Al-Jabri, Commandant of the Education Wing at the National Defence College, accompanied by a number of members of the faculty and staff of the college.
During the visit, the delegation of the National Defence College listened to a lecture on the general importance of the Fujairah Naval Base, followed by a field tour of the visiting delegation around the naval base.
