A delegation from UAE NDC attended the World Government Summit 2018 held in Dubai from 11-13 February 2018 under the theme "Shaping Future Governments". The summit was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the summit’s honor guest His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, as well as prominent leaders and experts from the public and private sectors.
The summit addressed the shaping of future governments in the coming decades in the light of the latest innovations, future trends, and experiences. The summit explored research and experience of other governments in the public and private sectors, the effect of science and technology on the future of government processes in key sectors such as education, health, economy, technology, and sustainability.
