H.E. Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, on Tuesday, October16, 2018, delivered a lecture at the National Defence College titled "The Future Outlook of Education in the United Arab Emirates", during which he spoke about many important areas of the educational process in the country. It includes the importance of security in education, as the safe environment facilitates the circulation and dissemination of ideas through dialogue, learning, and various educational institutions.
The lecture was attended by Maj. Gen. Rashad Mohamed Al Saadi, the NDC Commandant, and the participant of 6th NDC Course 2018-2019, as well as NDC Faculty.
During the lecture, His Excellency the Minister of Education addressed the UAE Millennium -2071, which was developed by the UAE wise leadership as a roadmap for education and other sectors in the state, such as economy society to create creative initiatives that bring together the youth talents and other capacities in the state .
His Excellency focused on the importance and role of education in promoting the values of good citizenship and consolidating the concept of national identity among the UAE people through the curriculum of the Ministry. He also explained that the Ministry of Education is working hard to develop the current strategies to play its future role in developing the university education in accordance with these strategies.
At the end of the lecture, His Excellency the Minister of Education received a memorial gift from His Excellency the NDC Commandant thanking Him for his visit and his valuable lecture.
