Michael Rupert, Ph.D. ASSISTANT Professor
Prior to NDC, Dr. Michael Rupert served as an Assistant Professor of Regional & Analytical Studies Department at the College of International Security Affairs at the National Defense University in Washington D.C.
Dr. Rupert served in Afghanistan as a social scientist with the U.S. Army in support of NATO, ISAF, and EUPOL’s counterinsurgency efforts; also served as a lead analyst with 1st Information Operations Command as an instructor and advisor.
Michael holds a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis & Resolution from George Mason University. He also holds a Master’s in Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor’s degree in Middle East Studies from the American University in Cairo.
